The match at the “American Airlines Center” in Texas was resolved in a dramatic ending, in which the Houston players had everything in their hands, but they squandered the victory “thanks” to Australian Star Dante Exum. The Dallas playmaker scored a three-pointer for overtime with the sound of the siren, in an almost hopeless situation for the Mavs, when the Rockets had already managed to survive Kyrie Irving’s spectacular game and Luka Doncic’s near-triple-double.
