Champions League

Today, all eyes turn to Paris as we await the crowning of the first finalist of this season’s Champions League, with PSG and Borussia Dortmund set to battle it out for a coveted spot in the ultimate showdown.

Borussia Dortmund will defend their slim 1-0 lead from the first leg at the Parc des Princes, where Füllkrug’s goal secured the victory for the Millionaires in Dortmund.

The first leg at Signal Iduna Park saw an exhilarating match, with neutral football fans unanimously agreeing that PSG did not deserve to lose. Consequently, the Parisians are widely considered the favorites for tonight’s clash, with most global bookmakers offering odds of around 1.50 for a PSG win.

In the first leg of the semifinal, Borussia edged past PSG with a stroke of luck, bringing them tantalizingly close to the Champions League final. Edin Terzić’s side is not renowned for their defensive prowess, suggesting we won’t witness a defensive “bunker” at the Parc des Princes.

“Our aim is to make it to the final. We know that PSG will be stronger than they were in Dortmund, so we’ll need to shine to advance to the final,” Terzić asserted confidently.

“Our goal is to reach the final. We’re aware that we can quickly score two goals in this match, but we could also concede. However, I will tell our fans just one thing: We will win,” declared PSG coach Luis Enrique ahead of the clash.

Probable line-ups:

PSG: Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Beraldo, Mendes; Zaire-Emery, Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz; Dembele, Mbappe, Barcola.

Borussia Dortmund: Kobel; Ryerson, Hummels, Schlotterbeck, Maatsen; Can, Sabitzer; Adeyemi, Brandt, Sancho; Füllkrug.

The PSG vs. Borussia match kicks off tonight in Paris at 9:00 PM CET, with live coverage available on Arena Sport and textual updates on the portal Klix.ba.

The second semifinal will take place tomorrow as Real Madrid hosts Bayern Munich, following their 2-2 draw in the first leg in Munich.
