New York (AFP) – Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has completed NFL concussion protocol and is set to play against Green Bay on Sunday in the NFL playoffs, head coach Nick Sirianni said Friday. Hurts was a full participant in Thursday’s practice after limited participation in Wednesday’s workout.

“He has made it through the protocol,” Sirianni said. “He has had a good week of practice. Really good week.” Hurts suffered a concussion last month in a loss to Washington, taking the injury during a run in the first quarter.

Blockers for Hurts have liked how he has played in workouts this week. “He looked great,” Eagles offensive guard Mekhi Becton said. “He looked like Jalen.”

“It was awesome,” added Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson. “He was dialed in.” Hurts threw for 278 yards and two touchdowns against the Packers in a 34-29 victory in Brazil on the first week of the NFL season in September.

For the season, Hurts has completed 248 of 361 passes for 2,903 yards and 18 touchdowns with only five interceptions. He has also run 150 times for 630 yards and 14 touchdowns with five lost fumbles. The Eagles finished 14-3 to grab the second seed in the NFC playoffs to earn a home game against the Packers, who went 11-6 in the regular season.
