New York (AFP) – Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard and Oklahoma City’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander were among those named to the NBA Cup all-tournament team announced on Thursday. Antetokounmpo’s triple double led the Bucks over Oklahoma City 97-81 in Tuesday’s NBA Cup final at Las Vegas, completing an unbeaten run that included a semi-final win over Atlanta.

In voting by a media panel, Greek star Antetokounmpo and US playmaker Gilgeous-Alexander each received 20 votes and Lillard had 19. Other spots on the select squad went to Atlanta guard Trae Young with 12 points and Turkish big man Alperen Sengun of the Houston Rockets, who lost to Oklahoma City in the semis, with six.
